Package details
Xenharmonics is a term invented by Ivor Darreg (composer instrument
inventor), derived from the Greek words for 'strange music'. It is
used to refer to any musical scale other than the standard 12-tone
equal temperament scale, which has become a standard in western music
since the growth of the use of keyboard instruments from the 14th
century.
This program is a modular software synthesiser designed to allow
people to write music for non-standard scales.
